Introducing Pliny: An Exquisite Modern Italian Leather Craftsman

Hi fellow shoppers!

Today, I have the pleasure to introduce you to a few new items handmade by Pliny! He is a wonderful modern Italian leather craftsman who creates accessories of exquisite quality. You can compare his masterpieces to Pliny the old, writer and philosopher in ancient Rome which I’m sure most of you are familiar with. Call it an omen in this case, if you’d like.

His brand makes modern creations and photographs them at historical landmarks so it gives you a feeling of the Italian beauty and history. Do not miss the opportunity to visit the shop in the center of Rome. The prices of these items are affordable for the average tourist - plus they would make the perfect Christmas gifts! Just a few hints that we are close and everyone expects a gift (even me).
Please contact us if you would like to visit this place and bring home a beautiful piece of Italy.

10 Italian Fashion Tips!

Traveling to Italy?

Italians can be very fashion-conscious, so there are a few things you should know about dressing in Italy. There is no formal dress code, but fashion is important in Italian culture, and Italians typically pay close attention to another person's clothes. Make sure everything you wear fits well, and has clean lines. Italians love a classy look that emphasizes a person’s good points.

Here are a 10 tips on how to dress for Italian Fashion:
1.) Capri pants are a good choice for women; Italians typically only wear shorts at resorts.
2.) Men rarely wear very short shorts outside of vacation, they also could carry a messenger bag if needed.
3.) If you’re wearing a suit, put on a tie with it.
4.) Skip the track suit or sweat pants. It’s going to look too informal for Italy.
5.) Pack business casual clothing for your vacation, something you’d be willing to wear to work.
6.) Avoid baggy clothes. Italians are partial to clothing that is nicely fitted. So, skip the slouchy shirt or baggy jeans. (Italians do wear jeans though, but they would pair them with a dressy top.)
7.) Carry a great handbag.
8.) Accessorize the look.
9.) One item you can't go wrong with in Italy is a beautiful blouse!
10.) Bring elegant and comfortable shoes.

Remember that Italians value clothing with elegant fabrics and clean lines, so avoid the messy patterns.
